Broad Seorak Mountain National Park is 398.539 km ², lies in some districts and cities such as District Inje, Goseong, Yangyang and Sokcho City. Seorak In (Naeseorak) located in Inje, whereas the Outer Seorak (Oeseorak) located in Sokcho, Yangyang and Goseong. In 1982, Mount Seorak designated as a Biosphere Preservation District (Biosphere Preservation District) by UNESCO.
